Pre-Primary: This tier consists classes from Play-Group to UKG with one section at each standard. The infrastructure for this level consists of a play room with various toys and recreation facilities, a big play ground, airy and big classrooms with comfortable seats, proper ventilation and light.

Primary: Primary level consists of classes from 1rst to 5th having one section each. There is a computer lab, a mathematics lab equipped with all the mathematical instruments and tools, an EVS lab with the necessary items, a music room laced with musical instruments, an art & craft room for imbibing creativity among the learners and a sports room equipped with most of the sports equipments. We have developed an spacious library with a collection of course related books, reference books, books of literatures, story books, magazines, periodicals, journals and daily newspapers.

Middle School: Middle school consists of classes from 6th to 8th standard where the classes have one section each. The infrastructure comprises a play-ground, airy and spacious classrooms with proper ventilation and light. This level of schooling is laced with a computer lab, an audio-visual room, a mathematics lab with proper mathematical equipments and tools, a composite Science lab and a Social science lab with all the required stuffs, a music room having most of the musical instruments, an art & craft room for developing craftsmanship and creativity and a sports room equipped with all the sports related materials. Its library keeps a huge collection of course related study materials and books, reference books, books of literatures, fortnightly and monthly magazines, journals and daily newspapers.

ACADEMIC WORK

Teachers are focused on creating adequate lesson plans to implement them in their respective classes with the participation of learners. The warmers introduced by teachers to remove the affective filters of students so as to make their teaching effective and interesting. The holistic English environment created by the competent and well qualified staff make learning a fun. The teachers are trained in creating lesson plans which are delivered following a suitable methods like behavioural method, diagnostic and remedial method, and questionnaire method and so on. Each teacher needs to discuss with his concerned department heads and the coordinator before delivering his lecture hence the valuable feedback and suggestions ensure flawless and effective teaching. As the educators know that teaching without a plan is dangerous, the teachers plan each class well whether they need to conduct a theory class or practical class in the labs or in the smart classes. V.S. Memorial Senior Secondary School emphasizes on developing the skills rather than promote rote learning and this is achieved through regular assessment as well as diagnostic and remedial teaching approach. Here the teaching is a blend of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to groom all the spheres of life among the students. The curricular activities consist of loud and silent reading, explanation of topics with the help of teaching aids, meanings of difficult terms, Dictation (Hindi & English), Essay/ Letter/Slogan Writing (English & Hindi), Quizzes from G.K., current affairs and mental ability, mathematics Olympiad and so on.
